From Baldrick Newsroom to Your Bathroom?

Dude, the theme of the first post in this website section? The Baldrick Newsroom to Your Bathroom. Seriously?

Sure. Why not? I’ll admit it. I came up with that headline myself. Recognizing the potential path of the Baldrick Newsroom to your bathroom is both fun and fitting. Furthermore, it speaks volumes about me and how I view myself. If you can’t admit you’ve ever looked at your phone, tablet, or laptop in the latrine, chances are we may be different people.

Most days I’m willing to stand out rather than blend in with the crowd. Do you have another moment for me to quickly explain? Or if you are currently occupied, perhaps we can do it later.

Many cliches are considered lame. But there are some I like. You probably do, too. For instance, “Take Your Work Seriously But Not Yourself.” It’s funny because I have long thought that way. Even better, I’ve lived that way. Yet somehow, that cliche has gone mainstream. The saying has reached the point it now appears as a page in today’s Business 101 Handbook.

So, don’t be fooled by the title here or the theme. Yes, I can always laugh at myself even in the Baldrick Newsroom. Joking about reading this on hopper isn’t off limits. But it doesn’t mean I am not taking writing here seriously. Quite the contrary.

Suppose the post title was “Baldrick News & Views Subject Matter.” Holy crap. Forget the bathroom. If you were reading in bed, you might fall asleep. I’ll still give you the same information. However, it is in a more attention-getting, creative, and compelling manner.

Being boring is not one of the reasons I get hired to provide creative services.

As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. often preached, “My slogan is Build baby build. Organize baby organize.” And that’s the blueprint for this News & Views section. Here I will cover hot topics and my opinions on them. Plus, I will share relevant news about work I am currently doing. However, never rule out that I’ll tell stories here. Superior storytelling is a given if you are going to succeed in the “Interesting Industry.”

Nope. It doesn’t matter one iota to me where you catch the Baldrick Newsroom coverage. Good reading material is just that whether do it in your office, gym… or your bathroom.
